Queen of Shamakhan Coat by armstreet

On the tent… The prize of maidens,
Queen of Shamakhan, in radiance
Lambent like the morning star,
Quietly salutes the Tsar.
A.S. Pushkin “The tale of the golden cockerel”

Okay, so it is basically All SHADOW AND BONE All The Time day on Tumblr. SURE, WHY NOT.

DO WANT. I’m not kidding, either. I think it would reduce my carpal tunnel syndrome, among other things. And I miss those manual carriage returns.

Plus, manual typewriters are classy.

ETA: Kits and converted typewriters can be ordered through the maker’s Etsy shop here.

Machine Prints Food Smells On Postcards

O.k this is pretty crazy, The “Food printer” has a camera, a smell extractor and a printer. When you’re ready to go the camera snaps a shot of the food while the smell extractor gathers the smells and the printer then prints the postcard with aroma ink.

What.

It’s only a concept/prototype according to Wired, but it’s a glorious idea. I like this one almost as much as the colour-scanning pen I reblogged a few months ago.
